Most pro bodybuilders are NOT natural. They take performing enhancing drugs (PEDs) which means they recover faster, build muscle easier, and can typically handle higher training volumes. Their routines work for them—not for someone who is drug free, working a full-time job, had a family, and normal recovery ability.

These guys are the 1%—genetic freaks who build muscle at an unreal rate. You’re following a program designed for someone whose body just doesn’t work like yours.
THE FITNESS INDUSTRY PROFITS FROM YOUR STRUGGLE:
Those ‘exact programs‘ they sell? Most of them didn’t even use it to build their physique. It’s a marketing tool. They dangle their dream body in front of you, knowing full well that their routine won’t work for the average person.
And then what happens?
- You blame yourself.
- You think you’re not training hard enough.
- You think you don’t have the ‘discipline’.
- You think you’re just not cut out for this.
But it’s NOT your fault.
You don’t need a 6-day, 20-set-per-muscle-group plan. You need a sustainable approach—one designed for your body, your schedule, and your recovery ability.
Focus on progressive overload, not ridiculous volume. You can get a LOT from a little with the correct training set up.
Train efficiently—3-4 days a week is enough.
Prioritize recovery—sleep, stress management, proper nutrition.
Stop chasing someone else’s program or someone else’s physique, focus on a routine that actually works for you.
You don’t need to train like a pro to build muscle. You just need to train smart and you need to train progressively.
