I’m still buzzing from the weekend…
I’m 47 years old & just saw Oasis again (lifelong fan) at Heaton Park — this time with my two best mates & his son.
It was his first Oasis gig, and watching his face light up when they took the stage will stay with us all for a long time.
There’s something pretty special about seeing the next generation belt out Don’t Look Back in Anger like they’ve lived it.
We were just a bunch of 40 year olds reliving the glory days of the 90s, but seeing it through his eyes and an entire younger generation gave it all a new meaning.
Whether you think Oasis are gods, a decent band with a few classics, or you hate them, you can’t deny the magic of thousands of people all coming together.

The world can be a very negative place, but music doesn’t discriminate or judge, and for 2 hours, 80,000 people were united together with one common passion.
The day will live forever in our minds.
Long live rock ‘n’ roll!
