Calorie Deficit – this is what matters for weight loss, NOT the diet you choose.
Every week there’s a new “best” diet — keto, intermittent fasting, paleo, plant-based, low-carb, high-protein… the list never ends.
However the fact is that if you’re not in a calorie deficit, you won’t lose weight.
That means you must consistently burn more calories than you consume — no matter how “clean,” “healthy,” or “trending’ your food choices are.
You can lose weight on a keto diet.
You can lose weight on a vegan diet.
You can lose weight eating carbs every day.
You can lose weight eating pizza — if you’re in a calorie deficit.
The diet itself doesn’t cause weight loss. The calorie deficit does.
The best diet is simply the one YOU can stick to long-term while still feeling good, fuelled, and satisfied.
Focus on sustainability, not restriction.
Pick an eating style that fits your lifestyle — your schedule, your preferences, and your personal beliefs, and then manage your calories within that framework.
That’s where real, lasting progress happens.
That’s all for today, have a good day, have a good workout, have a good week.
