I went to Alton Towers yesterday with Amy and her fam & we LOVED it!
However, when it came to jumping on some of rides I don’t mind admitting, I was a ‘bit’ nervous!
I mean some of the rides are pretty INTENSE & pretty FAST!
Whilst I was convincing myself it would all be ok, I realised that at times we were surrounded by kids who were a literally a fraction of my age, so I thought to myself:
’If these kids can do it, so can I’…
However, this comparison is a bit flawed:
Kids have no fear, no reference points, no real experience to draw on, & no real sense of consequence…
It’s often as adults that we develop fear, anxiety, stress, worry, & self-doubt…
Life can become more stressful as adults as we all tend to have experienced more pain & we see that the world isn’t always perfect.
In turn, we develop fear, we become anxious & worried, we panic & we doubt ourselves….but these kids were simply living in the moment, blissfully free from fear.
You can apply this to any of your goals:
I guarantee that what is holding you back is fear.
Tackling your goals (in or out of the gym) can be scary & intimidating, but as ever, if I can help you in anyway, please do give me a shout…

P.S – Have you been to Alton Towers? If so whats your fav ride?
