CBD what is it all about?
I have been trialling CBD oral drops for the last 2 months, mainly to see if it helped with my sleep & general recovery from training.
I’ll start by saying that any supplement is only as good as the lifestyle choices that surround, by definition a supplement is ‘a thing added to something else in order to complete or enhance it’.
That being said, I have definitely felt a calming effect when it comes to bed time (even with the addition of our recent new puppy)! 🐶😂
My mind can get VERY busy & I’ve historically suffered with broken sleep but do believe that using CBD has helped me clear my mind & improved my sleep.
So what actually is CBD?
CBD is short for cannabidiol and is the second most abundant cannabinoid in cannabis, behind THC (tetrahydrocannabinol). THC is the stuff that gets people high!
❌CBD will NOT get you high (no matter how much you take) as it does not contain THC!
✅Isolated CBD has shown promise in many studies linked to mainly linked to anxiety, pain & inflammation. It has also recently approved by the NHS as treatment for 2 types of epilepsy.Click here to read more on this.
