Matilda’s innocence & intrigue of the world fascinates me.

She can be absolutely amazed by the simplest things. Things that us adults wouldn’t even register or acknowledge.

She’s so amazing to watch and I find it really humbling at times.

She gives me perspective as to what is important and often makes me realise how I can be guilty of not always living in the moment.

I never thought that having a child would be relaxing (it’s not always), but I find that when I’m alone with Matilda and she’s off exploring her own little world, I love to just watch her.

She draws me into her world, and more than often, it’s a better place…

Her world is stress-free, it’s not judgmental, it’s welcoming, it’s loving and it’s fun!

(Most of the time ).

You don’t need to have kids to realise that as adults we all overcomplicate life & we could all benefit from temporarily living in a world like Matilda’s now & again.
