Most people over 35 don’t need to do ‘more’.
They simply need better structure.
The body changes. Recovery changes. Stress levels change. Life changes!
But most training advice hasn’t evolved at all, and the industry will constantly sell you the idea that more is better.
The goal isn’t to train as long as you can or as often as you can.
It’s to train smarter, with more purpose & more progression.
It’s not what you do, it’s what you can recover from.
Don’t confuse being busy with being productive.
‘More’ is not the answer anymore…
More workouts.
More cardio.
More time.
More exhaustion.
After 25 years of helping people, here’s what actually works…
1)Train for strength first:
Strength protects muscle.
Strength protects joints.
Strength protects your future.
2) Prioritise YOUR recovery:
Sleep.
Smart programming.
Rest days.
You don’t change during training, you change after training IF you are recovering.
3)Long term Consistency over short term intensity.
You do NOT need to destroy yourself.
You need a plan you can sustain for years.
4) Train for longevity.
Controlled reps.
Good mechanics for YOUR body.
Progessive Overload.
No ego lifting.
Your 40s & 50s should feel strong, not fragile.
Train for the next 20 years, not the next 12 weeks.
If this helped, give it a save & if someone needs to read it share it.
