
I tried paddle boarding for the first time ever this weekend….
We all had a really good laugh, but, just like in the gym, technique is everything!
It’s not just about showing up — it’s about balance, patience, and consistency.
I learnt that on the board, every stroke counts, just like In the gym, every rep counts…
You wobble (a lot) before you glide.
You definitely struggle before you stabilise!
You fail, fall, and get back up — a little bit stronger every time.
Whether it’s staying on the board or pushing yourself in the gym, progress is built through small adjustments and showing up even when the water (or the workout) gets tough.
And if you can keep progressing whilst still having a laugh, that is real success.
