I started a new plan today (5/01/24).
For a while now I have felt like I needed a little bit more purpose behind my training….
Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE training and it’s never a chore to me, I just felt that I needed to have clearer goals in mind for 2024.
I tend not to document my own training in great detail on social media( other than some highlights in reels or stories) as I feel it’s a bit self indulgent. I haven’t really gone into what I do/why I do it etc and have aimed to give more broader pointers.
However, I will be sharing my own progress as I tackle my own training & work towards my goals for this year.
My intial goal is to be leaner. That’s it, simple.
(I also have strength & performance goals for the year but I’ll be covering those in future posts).
However, my life is now very different due to me being a dad to Matilda!
I thought sharing an insight into how I intend to juggle all aspects of my life (being a boyfriend/ a dad/a self employed trainer running my own business etc) may help others who also have lots going on!
I’m also 46 this year, I’m sharing this because I see a LOT of people who write themselves off because of pre conceived ideas of what they are/aren’t capable of and what they should/shouldn’t be doing.
I’ll go into a lot more detail over the next week about nutrition, training and everything else but for now I wanted to give a little intro into my intentions.
