You don’t need to train more…
Do you want to get stronger without spending hours in the gym?
You don’t need to train more, you just need to train better.
One of the biggest mistakes I see is people constantly changing their programmes, adding more exercises and spending longer in the gym, without actually getting stronger.
Instead of chopping and changing, try this:
2 full-body sessions per week.
That’s enough to make progress. It’s simple but not easy.
Choose a handful of big, useful movements & make your efforts count.
Rather than doing endless sets, try one hard working set for each exercise.
Take it close to — or, where appropriate and safe, to — technical failure.
Slow it down, control the weight, and focus.
Get in, get it done and get out.
You don’t need to spend 60-90 minutes in the gym.
A focused session can be FAR shorter.
Focused & progressive full body training done twice a week is also far easier to fit around your work, family & life commitments.
The gym doesn’t need to become your whole life, you just need to train with purpose and make your sessions count.
